Hello, my name is Chris Osterhus. This page is a jump-off point to some of my interests. When I'm not at work, or asleep, I enjoy modeling the Penn Central Railroad, restoring my 1969 MGB GT, attending Pittsburgh's annual Vintage Grand Prix, and building model cars and trains. Links to all of my cool pages are below. I apologize in advance for any broken links. I'm in the process of overhauling this page, and some things might not work. Enjoy your stay!
A little bit about the MG: This was originally owned by my uncle, who bought it new. Sometime in the early '80s (1981?) my father bought it. He flew out to California, and drove the car back. For a few years, it was driven, but not very much. It never had anything done to it, so it was no surprise when the engine died in 1992-93. For the next 3 years, it sat in a field...before it came home in '96. Some work was started, mainly taking the car apart...until things went full tilt in 2004. By then, the engine had been rebuilt, the rust was gone, and it was repainted. Now, I'm nearing the end of its return to its former glory. There's still a bit of work left--mainly cleaning things up and putting the car back together. More detailed info about the car is over here.
