A Schnabel car is parked behind the RS11. These cars are used to haul large transformers. This car is two sections...which come apart, and then lock onto the load--with the load between them. Very cool! This one is owned by one of the factories here. |

At the other end of the spur, is this amazingly well-preserved New York Central Pullman car. It's made of stainless steel, and probably dates from the late 1940s or early 1950s. |
