Since all of the Selkirk photos are now online, I thought I'd create a third page for them. Enjoy!

The other side of the 'critter' CSX uses to shuffle engines in and out of the shops. |
This is the fueling area opposite the diesel shop. Notice the large towers in the background? These are slated to be torn down soon. |
Two of CSX's GE hood units sit outside the shops. The beige stuff between the rails is actually sand. Not sure what those wheelsets in the middle are for. The blue lights near the ends of the tracks tell the hostler where to stop the engine. More ex-Conrail units are in the background. |
Lots of GE units near the shops today. This is a "B" series engine, with an AC4000 behind (I think). GE's units all look the same to me... |
Not sure what these are either. Passed them while heading into the shops. |
The engine with the yellow lettering on the side is a GE unit. I think the other one is an EMD. |
This unit was in a wreck... which really screwed up the front end. The shop crew has done a great job fixing it. Can't even tell. In fact, we didn't know that this one was wrecked... until our tour guide told us! |
This isn't at the yard... but at the hotel! It's the bus that CSX uses to shuttle crews between the hotel and the yard |
